We also dished about fashion — oh yes we did — and Doc was more than psyched to do it. Actually, he seemed kinda stoked that I asked him about his fabulous brown-and-teal pinstriped suit. Turns out heads of ECC Life & Style, Shawn Harris and Jeff Lahens, are the masters behind the suit. Big Doc was so impressed, he got Kevin Garnett and other teammates to start having their suits custom-made by ECC.

Celtics coach Doc Rivers donated his final game dress shirt to a charity auction and was bid up to $55,000 on it. The custom-made white ECC Life & Style cotton shirt with mother of pearl buttons was badly stained with pink Gatorade and also signed by Rivers and Celtics star Paul Pierce.

Word is, new World Champion Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers studies fabric swatches as closely as he watches Lakers' game film.
