When we first started the company, we named it The Executive Clothing Company. However, as time passed we realized that the name was not inclusive enough, so we decided to shorten it to ECC and added Life & Style to describe ECC as truly being a lifestyle choice.

There is actually historical meaning to why we chose the pineapple. As the story goes Columbus found the luxuriously tasty pineapple in the Caribbean and wanted to bring it back to Europe for others to enjoy. While Columbus’s intentions were to be commended, due to the time it took to transport the pineapples, upon arrival to Europe, the pineapples were rotten and no longer consumable.

When Columbus finally figured out how to get it back to Europe in a consumable state, only the wealthy could afford it – yes even then the world was dealing with supply and demand challenges at that time. However, with improvements to sourcing and transportation, the pineapple has become available to all that want to enjoy it.

We feel ECC is no different than the pineapple, as we make the highest quality Genuine Bespoke™ menswear available to everyone.

Essentially, it's our DNA. ECC’s Genuine Bespoke™ is a combination of an individually cut paper pattern produced by our Master Cutter; personal supervision of production by our Master Cutter; Master Cutters and Tailors trained to the exacting standards of Savile Row; Expert cloth consultants offering a choice of a least 2000 fabrics to members and prospects including a range of exclusive cloths; Retention of full customer records and order details; Savile Row quality basted fitting; Threads come with a minimum of 50 hours of hand work; and after care for Threads including sponging, pressing, repairs and button matching. This is not simply made-to-measure.

Bespoke is a suit made to the customer's specifications. A bespoke suit is cut by an individual and made by highly skilled individual craftsmen. The pattern is made specifically for the customer and the finished suit will take a minimum of 50 hours of hand work and require a series of fittings.

A baste is a garment roughly assembled for the first fitting. The baste is tacked with long stitches to hold the garments parts together.

In most cases, you can expect your initial consultation will last between one and two hours. As we value the time of our members, we can perform your initial consultation either at one of our locations or at your home or office.

Our Master Tailors prefer that you wear a pair of dress trousers and a suit jacket. However, no need to worry if this is not possible.

You can experience ECC wherever you live or work. If an ECC Master Tailor does not exist in your area, we will bring one to you.

We typically prefer that our Master Tailors conduct the basted fitting. However if you allow us to interview your tailor, we will certify them to conduct basted fittings.

Yes, we make casual shirts such as the Latin inspired Guayabera, Western shirts, Safari shirts, and Military style shirts. We also make chinos and shorts and we do offer ECC Genuine Bespoke™ Denim.

Three to four weeks after the basted fitting you will receive your finished ECC Genuine Bespoke™ menswear. For shirts, it's four to six weeks after the initial consultation. Please note: detailed shirts such as the Guayabera will take closer to six weeks.

Rush orders are only possible after going through the basted fitting process at least once.

More than simply block or script monogram; though we do those too. ECC will take your signature as scribed on a piece of paper and reproduce exactly as a shirt embroidery.

No. You become an ECC member regardless of how large or small the size of your order. Order one shirt or one tie - it's ok.

We typically take full payment at time the order is written.

We offer a choice of over 2000 fabrics from Dormeuil, Scabal, and many other European fabric houses to include a range of exclusive cloths to our members.

Of course! We will also work with you to ensure you have adequate amounts given your size and the fabric pattern.

Yes, we leave enough material in your ECC Genuine Bespoke™ menswear to make reasonable adjustments.

Unfortunately ECC does not make alterations to non-ECC clothing. We recommend you contact your local tailor for this.

We recommend infrequent trips to the Dry-Cleaner for your ECC Genuine Bespoke™ menswear. Instead, airing out your suit, sponging it when required, and brushing the fabric will keep your ECC Genuine Bespoke™ menswear looking sharp all while extending the life of the garment. For ECC Custom Hand-stitched shirts™ we recommend hand washing for durability, however if necessary you can machine-wash them in cold water. We also recommend natural drying over machine drying and hand wash over machine wash for all our ECC Custom Hand-stitched shirts™. No ECC Custom Hand-stitched shirts™ should have a hot iron applied directly to it. Instead you should always have a white linen cloth between the iron and your ECC Custom Hand-stitched shirts™. The best method is to iron from the reverse side or steam press.

Unfortunately at this time ECC does not make women’s clothing however we hope to soon offer the same quality clothing for women as we do for men.

Yes, we keep all measurements and all adjustments made during the fitting process on file to save you time when you place a future order.

Yes, we will not be satisfied until you are! We will make adjustments until you are happy. We assume acceptance of the product if we have not heard back from you 30 days after delivery.

Currently we do not offer ready-to-wear menswear however we are working on some select, non-tailored, apparel to include tees, jeans, hats and other items.
